Emiliano Macaluso
Dr. Emiliano Macaluso was awarded his PhD at University College London (UK) in 2000. Since 2004 he is the director of the Neuroimaging Laboratory of the Santa Lucia Foundation (Rome, Italy). His research interests and expertise concern the neural basis of multisensory integration and space perception. He has used several non-invasive neuroimaging and behavioural techniques to investigate these processes in the human brain, including Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Event-related Brain Potentials (ERP), plus analyses of effective connectivity and analysis eye-movement patterns.
