Marcia J. Scherer
Dr. Scherer develops measures for matching individuals with disabilities with assistive and other technologies that best match their needs and preferences. She is author of the books Living in the State of Stuck: How Assistive Technology Impacts the Lives of People with Disabilities and Connecting to Learn: Educational and Assistive Technology for People with Disabilities. She edits the journal Disability and Rehabilitation: Assistive Technology. Dr. Scherer is Fellow of the American Psychological Association in Rehabilitation Psychology as well as in Applied Experimental and Engineering Psychology and in Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics. She is also a Fellow of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).
